Crowd sourcing – the new buzz word. Here is a cool experiment – The You Tube orchestra. A conductor wanted to create a fantastic symphony orchestra. In collaboration with You Tube he invited amateur musicians to audition online to become selected the specific part.

To underline the importance of Fallons credo “The work – above all” the agency encouraged past and present employees to donate one or more awards they won for Fallon to be melted down in a solid metal mural in the reception area of their new offices. So far 70 awards have been contributed and the whole thing will be properly video documented.

Nice stunt if you’ve won too many awards…

Sony encourages to be part of the song with most participants:

Not a great ad and not particularly relevant to the product – but a really interesting web idea. Sony encourages people to be part of a Guinness Book of Records stunt. The idea is to create a song with the most participants ever. You have to pick a part from a Depeche Mode song, record it and you can mix your own version.
