Ikea x WWF

Swedish Seedballs

PROBLEM

In Denmark, only 1-2% of the nature is wild, resulting in a massive lack of habitats and nourishment for the endangered Danish insects.

IDEA

IKEA’s most popular product of all time is the Swedish Meatball. First, they served them to the meat-lovers. Then the vegetarians. And with the massive biodiversity crisis in Denmark, it’s time to cater to a whole new audience. So in collaboration with WWF, we made Swedish Seedballs - a meal you can plant for endangered insects.

The campaign is part of “Denmarks Wild Gardens” - a larger initiative that aims to inspire and engage Danes in the fight for more biodiversity.
