PROBLEM

In Denmark climate change is the biggest threat to our landscape. To protect our land we must install 16 new wind turbines every month the next seven years.
But in 2023, all projected wind farms were put on hold, and zero wind turbines were to be installed. The reason? The Danes think wind turbines ruin the beautiful danish landscape.

IDEA

We wanted to spark a debate and challenge the Danes’ outdated conception of a beautiful landscape versus the environmental challenges it faces. Our powerful idea became a powerful question: Is Danish beauty as it has been depicted for a thousand years or is it time for a change?

RESULTS

• 839.000 have reflected on the importance of the green transition

• 484.000 have become more interested in wind energy

• 37% national campaign awareness

• Major news outlets picked up on the campaign and entered the debate

• +10.000 posters distributed
